Weekly Ponderings 13

This week I was excited about…

Returning home to the land of green fields, family and (fingers crossed, fingers crossed…) sunshine! We were in luck. The birds were singing in the trees, the daffodils were blooming and the sun beamed down from the sky to welcome us back to the British countryside (Alright, it might not look like it from this picture, but you’re just going to have to trust me on this, OK?!).

It was even so warm that I was able to do a spot of blogging from a comfy seat on our balcony.

This week I was reminded…

How special and unique the food is in the UK. From bacon butties and brunches to cakes and champagne afternoon teas, we ate all the food. And it was good.

This week I appreciated…

Completing a whole heap of wedding-related business including visiting both of our stunning wedding venues on Easter Day: firstly our Church for the Easter service and then Chatsworth for their Laurent Perrier afternoon tea (which I highly recommend if you’re ever in the area).

A beautiful Springtime walk through my favourite London park on our last day before flying home.

St James’ Park just gave us the perfect goodbye. See you in 3 months London! #park #spring #springtime #lake #daffodils #Buckighampalace #royalparks #London #visitlondon #travel #tbloggers #travelblog #travelgram #followyoursunshine

Lol! It's so annoying when you're like 'Ooooh… what a nice day' and then your photo just looks grey! Glad you had a good time in the UK!
    Lots of love,

Naww thanks my love. That's exactly why I write them – there's got to be something to be excited about/grateful for every week. Eeek, that Church is definitely beautiful, as are the views when you step outside. I'm MORE than excited…can't wait!!

Fabulous shot of Buckingham Palace, Polly! I love Chatsworth, must do a post about it one day as I visited when there were some amazing outdoor sculptures
